On the announcement that Tony Blair is to step down as prime minister on June 27, here (pinched from the BBC) is how he has aged over the last ten years:
Not too bad, really. You should see how the rest of us look after ten years of his sanctimonious and bossy leadership!

If only he'd kept his mouth shut (like it is in most of those pictures), things might have turned out alright :)
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. - C.S. Lewis
So he is a happy little bunny while the rest of us are driven to desperation. If he had left us alone for the last 10 years most of us would look younger and the stress councilling facilities would be looking for more work.
