Second place: Fursty Ferret. Clean, clear. No place: Tribute - How the hell did this get into the photograph?First place: Old Hooky - Strangely bitter and sweet at the same time. This is the one I'll look for next time.Fursty Ferret and Old Hooky deserve their place among the quality ales previously sampled.
I am thoroughly ashamed, as a real ale man, I have drunk none of these.Maybe I should drink more.
I've had Old Hooky before, from Hook Norton. I can't remember much about it, other than it wasn't foul, like the time I had Ringwood Bitter.
Wonderful post. I started to do this but never got past Theakstons.
