More English Ales

  • Second place: Fursty Ferret. Clean, clear.
  • No place: Tribute - How the hell did this get into the photograph?
  • First place: Old Hooky - Strangely bitter and sweet at the same time. This is the one I'll look for next time.

Fursty Ferret and Old Hooky deserve their place among the quality ales previously sampled.

  1. I am thoroughly ashamed, as a real ale man, I have drunk none of these.
    Maybe I should drink more.

  2. I've had Old Hooky before, from Hook Norton. I can't remember much about it, other than it wasn't foul, like the time I had Ringwood Bitter.
