Cristiano Ronaldo

I don't mind these foreign footballers coming over here and diving in the penalty box. But I can't put up with them using the word 'polemic' in the after-match interview.

If they're gonna play football in this country, they can bloody well learn to talk proper.

  1. Perhaps Ronaldo considers himself to be a sacred cow...

  2. I suspect he is transliterating a word he knows from French (I'm not sure if there is an equivalent from the same root in Portugese).

If you don't know the right French word, you can normally just say an English word with French pronounciation. It might get you into a bit of trouble, but who cares really. The damn foreigners should have learned English!

Hast thou not heard? Polemic, 'tis a common article of speech amongst the good folk of merry england.

  4. Honestly, I think he's one of the best in this world. I want to be like him, but I am an ugly gay... I will do my best to save money and shape my face like he did. I will need millions, but I don't care. I want to be like him to fuck around with to many women.
